Saying Goodbye to a Friend in Carroll, Iowa

I will be attending my uncle’s funeral in Carroll, Iowa this morning.
It was a crispy 2° this morning when we got up and moving.

I went with my brothers and drove to Herring, Iowa this AM.
It was breezy and cold on top of the Herring hill.
I took my brother’s picture by the flag poles.

My relatives settled in western Iowa back in the 1800s.

It warmed up to 4° this morning by 9:00 AM.

Blogging will be light for the next several hours.
