This afternoon Bishop Derrick Robinson, a Ferguson protest leader, told MSNBC Jeffrey Williams was “sorry” and was “reacting out of frustration and anger.” Robinson visited Williams at the County jail in Clayton, Missouri.
A couple minutes later in the same interview Robinson says Jeffrey Williams was set up by police and brutally beaten.
“Not only was he beaten, he was brutally beaten, when he was arrested and I think he was coerced to, he was not even given an opportunity to seek counsel. The police beat him to confessing.“
This was crazy.
Pastor Robinson also told MSNBC Williams was not a protester.
