Barack Obama spoke today at the 50th anniversary of the bloody march in Selma, Alabama.
Of course, he took a swipe at America.
The first African-American president told the crowd,
“We don’t need a Ferguson report” to know racism is not banished.
“We don’t need the Ferguson report to know that’s not true. We just need to open our eyes, and ears, and hearts, to know that this nation’s racial history still casts its long shadow upon us.”
The controversial Department of Just Ferguson Report was released this week. The investigation found there was not sufficient evidence to charge Officer Wilson but found instances of racial bias in the Ferguson Police Department.
