The former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and retired Lieutenant General, Micheal Flynn said during an interview on Fox News Sunday that President Obama’s Middle East policy is willfully ignorant (1:50-2:37):
“Let me just say as an Intelligence Officer, intelligence has to be apart of the calculus of every strategic level decision. And right now my sense of where the policy is at, is sort of, I hate to say it like this, but it’s almost a policy of willful ignorance.
“To me, we have some major problems we are dealing with and here we are talking to Iran about a nuclear deal with this almost complete break down of order in the Middle East.”
