A massive battle broke out at a women’s basketball game between Texas Southern and Southern University after a blatant foul.
18 players were reportedly suspended and TCU withdrew their team from the SWAC tournament.

The fight ended the game.
NBC Sports reported:

Seven players from Southern were suspended, as were eight from Texas Southern. Southern also announced that they had dismissed Keonia Parrish from the team. The other six that were suspended: Kendra Coleman, Jasmine Jefferson and Cortnei Purnell, Shaquandria Litmon, Yasmine Nelson and Jadea Brundidge.

The seven players suspended by Texas Southern: Kiani Vines, Alexus Johnson, Diamomisha Sophus, Toni Cheadle, Dana Jones, Miracle Davis, Morgan Simmons and Ashley Ferguson.
