The procedure includes stabbing a nearly born baby in the head and sucking its brains out.

In late term abortions the fetus is rotated until it is facing feet downwards. The surgeon reaches into the uterus and pulls the fetus’ body, with the exception of its head, out of the woman’s body. Surgical scissors are inserted into the base of the fetal skull, and withdrawn. A suction tube is inserted and the fetus’ brains are removed through aspiration.

Wasserman Schultz: From my perspective, from my party’s perspective, we do not support rolling back protection that the Constitutional right to make your own reproductive choices established in Roe versus Wade has given to women.

Megyn Kelly: It’s not like 90% of the country support partial birth abortion. They do not… 80% of the public is against an abortion in the third trimester. And almost 65% is against an abortion in the second trimester… At what point is it no longer appropriate to say it is not just between a woman and her doctor?

Wasserman Schultz: What is appropriate from my perspective. I’ll speak for myself but I think I can speak for most in my party. And that is that a woman’s right to make her own decision about her body should be between her and her doctor.

Wasserman Schultz was a guest on The Kelly File.
