It’s an Obama world…
The New York Times reported today that Iran was caught cheating again on their nuclear program. Tehran has increased its stockpile of nuclear fuel by about 20 percent over the last 18 months of negotiations.
State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said the Obama team was “quite frankly perplexed” with the report.
It’s not the first time the regime was caught cheating.
The Iranians were caught attempting to buy nuclear technology with false documentation during nuclear talks with the West earlier this year.
Last night Marie Harf went off on The New York Times and defended the mullahs in Iran.
Harf unloaded on New York Times reporter David Sanger in several tweets.
“We know what’s going on and Iran agreed to reduce nuclear stockpile—
.@SangerNYT Bottom lines: We know exactly what's going on, Iran has agreed to reduce to 300kg in final deal, program frozen/complying w/JPOA
— Marie Harf (@marieharf) June 3, 2015
Iran is not breaking the rules…
.@SangerNYT And you insinuate Iran is doing something it's not supposed to do under the JPOA or in violation of its obligations – not true
— Marie Harf (@marieharf) June 3, 2015
.@SangerNYT You write that "The overall increase in Iran’s stockpile poses a major diplomatic and political challenge" – not true

So the Obama administration is now defending the Iranian regime.
This is quite disturbing.
