A woman accused of assaulting two Denver police officers outside a bar was formally charged Wednesday.
Brittany Thomas, 27, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault on a peace officer and one count of resisting arrest.
Police say Thomas was with a group of people loitering in the 1400 block of North Uinta Street Friday, and tried to flee when responding officers found she had a warrant out for her arrest. The charges allege that Thomas scratched and kicked two officers as she resisted arrest.
