Police are pursing the suspect on Interstate-64.
The shooter was identified as a former disgruntled employee.
His name is Vester Flanagan.

A reporter and videographer for WDBJ-TV out of Roanoake, Virginia were shot and killed during a live interview report Wednesday morning at Bridgewater Plaza.

Reporter Alison Parker was conducting an interview when several shots were fired. Videographer Adam Ward continued filming for a few seconds. As the camera falls a man can be seen having approached the news team from behind. WDBJ general manager Jeff Marks reported both were killed in the incident. There is no word on the status of person being interviewed as of now.
UPDATE: Vester Flanagan is dead. He shot himself.
