AT LEAST 100 police officers and servicemen from the Ukrainian National Guard were injured after a grenade exploded outside the Verkhovna Rada in Kiev, Monday.
A grenade was tossed towards the police and national guard officers outside parliament. The servicemen were trying to prevent protesters from storming the Ukrainian parliament building.

A man was caught on camera throwing what appeared to be a grenade during the protest in Kiev today.
The man can be seen reaching into his pocket to grab the grenade and then tossing it at the Ukrainian police.
