Trump, Paul mix it up
After Rand Paul spent the week leading up the debate talking about how he would go after Donald Trump, Trump made sure he fired first.
Asked about his temperament, Trump first took a moment to say Paul shouldn’t be on the stage because he’s the 11th candidate and at “1%” in the polls.
Given an opportunity to respond, Paul said: “I kind of have to laugh” and called him “sophomoric.”
