Hooray! Obama to Reporters: China Has Agreed to Cease Cyber Espionage and Theft (VIDEO)

He can’t seriously be this naive, can he?
Barack Obama boasted to reporters today that China has agreed to cease cyber theft and espionage on American interests.

He said this with a straight face:

I raised once again our very serious concerns abut growing cyber threats to American companies and American citizens. I indicated that it has to stop. The United States government does not engage in cyber economic espionage for commercial gain. And today I can announce that our two countries reached a common understanding on our way forward. We agreed that neither the US nor the Chinese government will conduct or knowingly support cyber enabled theft of intellectual property including trade secrets or other confidential information for commercial advantage. In addition we’ll work together and with other nations.

** Chinese hackers stole 5.6 million fingerprints of federal employees this year.
** China cybercrime costs the US billions of dollars each year.

Obama said it will stop because President Xi told him so.
