Breaking: Russia Unloads on ISIS in Palmyra Region After Sinai Plane Crash

On Saturday a Russian passenger jet went down in the Sinai peninsula.
ISIS took credit for the deadly crash that killed 224 people.

Today Russia unloaded on ISIS in the Palmyra region for the first time.

France 24 reported:

“Su-25 jets hit a fortified IS position in the Tadmur area of Homs province,” Moscow’s defence ministry said in a statement, using the Arabic name for Palmyra. “As a result of a direct strike a fortification, underground bunker and anti-aircraft artillery were destroyed.”
