It’s not everyday that Debbie Wasserman Schultz agrees with a Republican, or with Donald Trump for that matter. But after Trump called Debbie “crazy, terrible and neurotic,” she said that she agrees with him.
After Donald Trump blasted Debbie Wasserman Schultz as “crazy,” terrible,” and “neurotic,” the chair of the DNC confirmed that she is “proudly all of those things.”
In a fundraising email, Wasserman Schultz decried past comments Trump made Nov. 2 on Breitbart News’ new SiriusXM satellite radio show.
“This is a woman that is a terrible person,” he said at the time. “You have this crazy Wasserman Schultz — Deborah Wasserman Schultz — who is in there, a highly neurotic woman.”
In response, the DNC chair said, “In true Trump form, he failed to provide any explanation for this string of insults. But that’s ok. I’m going to provide my own interpretations.”
She then went on to interpret what were clearly insults as happy rays of sunshine — all in an effort to fundraise.
“Crazy,” she said, was in her mind, “Someone who unapologetically calls Republicans out when they prioritize the radical ideologies of the Tea Party ahead of the American people.”“A Terrible Person” was “Someone who won’t stand for attacks on women’s health care, hard working middle class families, or programs that serve the elderly and economically disadvantaged.”
And finally, “A Highly Neurotic Woman” meant to her, “A woman who cares and works tirelessly and effectively at her job.”
It’s good to hear Debbie finally admitting it to herself.
