The Ku Klux Klan was founded as the activist wing of the Democratic Party.
On September 28, 1868, a mob of Democrats massacred nearly 300 African-American Republicans in Opelousas, Louisiana. The savagery began when racist Democrats attacked a newspaper editor, a white Republican and schoolteacher for ex-slaves. Several African-Americans rushed to the assistance of their friend, and in response, Democrats went on a “Negro hunt,” killing every African-American (all of whom were Republicans) in the area they could find. Democrats in hoods slaughtered hundreds of Republicans and blacks across the country.
On April 20, 1871 the Republicans passed the anti-Ku Klux Klan Act outlawing Democratic terrorist groups.
The the KKK is largely non-existent and condemned by Americans of all stripes – even Democrats.
But Democrats are using the KKK today when defending Islamic killers. Far left idiots do this by linking the KKK to Christianity. It’s a popular meme on the left and often repeated by their “thought leaders” who have no idea what the hell they are talking about. For instance, as we look back in time, was there a prominent Christian community that supported the KKK and directed church members to lynch blacks and Republicans? Of course not. But that doesn’t stop the left today from comparing the KKK movement in the early 20th Century to Islamic mass murder today.
It’s interesting how Democratic leaders insist that ISIS has nothing to do with Islam but then link Christians to the satanic KKK movement. It’s typical liberal hypocrisy.
Far left crank Stephen Colbert did just that on Friday night on The Late Show. Colbert criticized Republican Party for passing a bill to restrict Syrian refugees from entering the country for now. 47 Democrats joined with Republicans to pass the bill this week. Colbert blasted Republicans for the popular bipartisan bill and compared Christians to the KKK.
What an idiot.
While Colbert was making an ass out of himself Muslim extremists murdered another American in Mali on Friday. She left behind a young child. There have been over 27,000 deadly Islamic terrorist attacks since the 9-11 attacks.

Yet Colbert and the left are still squawking about the KKK.
Give it a rest, dope.
