Socialist Bernie Sanders told the Democrat debate audience on Sunday night that he is the best candidate to beat Donald Trump. The Socialist said he was ahead of Trump by 13 points in the latest national poll.
“As Secretary Clinton well knows, when this campaign began, she was 50 points ahead of me,” Sanders said. “We were all of 3 percentage points. Guess what, in Iowa, New Hampshire — the race is very, very close. Maybe we’re ahead in New Hampshire. In terms of polling, guess what we’re running ahead of Secretary Clinton in terms of taking on my good friend Donald Trump, beating him by 19 points in New Hampshire, 13 points in the last national poll.”
Of course, this would be a dream matchup for conservatives.
The crazy Socialist would be lucky to take five states if he ran against Trump in November.
