Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump received a presidential style welcome from Marylanders who gathered on the roadside to cheer him as he drove by in a motorcade on the way to a campaign rally in Berlin on the state’s Eastern Shore on Wednesday.
Video of the welcome was posted by senior Trump aide Dan Scavino on Wednesday night. The video was taken during a fifteen mile ride, mainly on Route 50, from the Salisbury airport to the site of the rally at Stephen Decatur High School.
The video shows groups of supporters standing on the roadside, or at intersections blocked by police, holding large American flags and waving at Trump.
