Reason #18 – Hillary’s Attack on the 2nd Amendment
In June of this year a gunman entered a gay bar in Orlando, Florida and shot and killed 49 individuals in the club before finally being shot and killed by the police. The American-born man called emergency number 911 during his murdering rampage and pledged allegiance to ISIS.
Omar Mateen was interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and 2014 but somehow was ignored and not found to be a threat before committing the deadliest mass shooting in the United States and the nation’s worst terror attack since 9/11. During his call to 911 Mateen mentioned the Boston Marathon bombers, according to a U.S. official. His ex-wife thought he was mentally ill at the time.
Mateen carried an assault rifle and a pistol into the packed Pulse club about 2 a.m. Sunday and started shooting, killing 49 people and wounding at least 53, officials said.
After a standoff of about three hours, while people trapped inside the club desperately called and messaged friends and relatives, police crashed into the building with an armored vehicle and stun grenades and killed Mateen.
In response to the terrorist assault, Hillary Clinton renewed her efforts to dismantle the Second Amendment.
“We did have an assault weapons ban for ten years,” Hillary Clinton told CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “I think it should be reinstated.”
“Let’s keep weapons of war off our streets like the one that was used in Orlando,” she added, talking to the Today Show.
“We know the gunman used a weapon of war to shoot down at least 50 innocent Americans and, you know, we won’t even be able to get the congress to prevent terrorists or people on the no-fly list from buying guns.”
Hillary’s insane response was repeated by other liberals, the self-proclaimed liberal guardians of gay rights! Islam’s intolerance of gays is well documented and to suggest the guns killed the innocents in the Orlando gay club and not Radical Islam was ridiculous.
Mateen wasn’t on a no-fly list and even worked for a company contracted to the Department of Homeland Security, the US Army, and federal and local law enforcement. The gun Mateen used to kill innocents was an AR-15 which is not considered a weapon of war because it is not fully automatic.
Liberals’ attempts to take away the 2nd amendment from law abiding Americans every time a criminal commits a gun crime rather than stand up for individual’s rights are appalling and lead many gay Americans to change their mind about their allegiance to the Democrat party.
Socialist liberals and their main stream media are constantly attacking American’s and attempting to take away their rights. When conservatives speak the truth to their lies they want to shut down their ability to share the truth.
Guns don’t kill people – bad people (including radical Islamic terrorists) use guns, knives, buses, airplanes, etc.. to kill people!
A vote for Trump is a vote for freedom but a vote for Hillary is a vote for tyranny and the continued pilfering of American rights by the social elites.
