Los Angeles Dodger Announcer Vin Scully Retires and Gives Final Moving Message to America and Dodger Baseball Fans Everywhere

Guest post by Joe Hoft

Nothing is more American than baseball and one of the greatest baseball announcers retired Sunday after a 67 year career. Vin Scully announced his last regular season game for playoff bound Los Angeles Dodgers and their playoff bound archrival the San Francisco Giants.  After the game Scully gave a memorable and moving final message to Americans and Dodger fans.

Scully shared:

May God give you

For every storm a rainbow,

For every tear a smile,

For every care a promise,

And a blessing in each trial,

For every problem life seems a fateful friend to share,

For every sigh a sweet song, and

An answer for each prayer.

God Bless Vin, Baseball and America!
