Donald Trump Campaign Manager went on CNN this morning and unloaded on Mitt Romney as a Secretary of State candidate.
Kellyanne Conway: The backlash from the grassroots, I’m hearing people saying, “hey my parents died penniless, but I gave 216 dollars to Donald Trump’s campaign and I feel betrayed.” I’ve had people say. “I thought we got rid of this type.” What I’m just saying is we don’t even know if Mitt Romney voted for Donald Trump. He put Evan McMullin up in Utah. So I think there are concerns that those of us who are loyal have. You want someone, a Secretary of State who is loyal to the president and the president’s vision of the world.

Kellyanne also went on NBC’s “Meet the Press” to continue her attacks on Romney, via Politico:
Later, on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Conway continued to make the case against Romney.
“People feel betrayed to think that Governor Romney, who went out of his way to question the character and the intellect and the integrity of Donald Trump, now our president-elect, would be given the most significant cabinet post of all, Secretary of State,” Conway told host Chuck Todd.
“They feel a bit betrayed that you can get a Romney back in there after everything he did.”
It looks like somebody is getting the message.
