Republican John Kennedy TROUNCES Democrat in US Senate Race Following Trump Friday Rally

Republican John Kennedy defeated Foster Campbell in the runoff election in Louisiana on Saturday following Donald Trump’s get out the vote rally on Friday.

Trump held a GOTO rally in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Friday before his Michigan rally.

Kennedy beat his Democratic opponent 63% to 37%.
OUCH!

Kennedy’s win increased the Republican lead to 52-48 in the US Senate.
NOLA reported:

John Kennedy’s channel to victory was dredged and clear from the beginning of the Louisiana Senate race. All he had to do was stay the course.

He did that Saturday (Dec. 10), handily beating Democrat Foster Campbell in the runoff to succeed retiring Sen. David Vitter, R-La.

A five-time elected state treasurer, Kennedy rode Louisiana’s inexorable bend toward the Republican party and the popularity of President-elect Donald Trump to win the elected post he has coveted for much of his public career.

Two other Republicans Clay Higgins and Mike Johnson won seats in the US House of Representatives on Saturday.
