Clinton News Network

On Wednesday CNN putting out a breaking news alert that read: “Trump is using Assange remarks to question Russia hacking allegations. But in 2010, he called WikiLeaks ‘disgraceful’.”

From CNN:

Donald Trump called WikiLeaks “disgraceful” and suggested there be a “death penalty” for their actions during a 2010 interview…

…”I think it’s disgraceful, I think there should be like death penalty or something,” Trump said during the quick exchange uncovered online by CNN’s KFile. His 2010 comments are in sharp contrast to his decision Wednesday morning to invoke WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who claimed in a new Fox News interview that the Russian government was not the source of the hacks during the presidential campaign.

Following the interview, Trump tweeted: “Julian Assange said ‘a 14 year old could have hacked Podesta’ – why was DNC so careless? Also said Russians did not give him the info!”

The president-elect has repeatedly questioned the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Russia was the source of the hacks, which took place during the 2016 presidential campaign and targeted Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta and the Democratic National Committee. During the campaign, Trump cited information released by WikiLeaks to attack Clinton and the DNC.

Study: CNN Least Trusted Among Likely Voters

A new study shows that a “larger portion of Fox News and MSNBC viewers trust those networks more [than CNN]”.

From the Washington Examiner:

CNN is less trusted by likely voters than its competitors at MSNBC and Fox News, according to a new study.

The study, conducted by Rasmussen Reports, said that 75 percent of likely voters tend to watch at least some cable news per week to keep up with politics. Among that group, 42 percent watch Fox News, 35 percent watch CNN, and 19 percent watch MSNBC.

However, the poll said a larger portion of Fox News and MSNBC viewers trust those networks.

Just 33 percent of those who watch CNN said they trusted the information they’re getting, compared to 43 percent for MSNBC. At Fox News, 50 percent said they trust the source.

WikiLeaks Planning to Sue CNN

This CNN  ‘Breaking News’ update comes only hours after WikiLeaks announced on Twitter that it plans to sue CNN for the smear attack that took place on it’s program in response to the interview Assange gave to Sean Hannity.

From The Gateway Pundit:

WikiLeaks says it intends to sue CNN after a counter-terrorism analyst went on a smear campaign against Julian Assange calling him a ‘pedophile’ on air.

In a tweet on Wednesday, the whistle-blowing organization indicated it will bring legal action against CNN over the matter, tweeting: “We have issued instructions to sue CNN for defamation”.
