Stock Market Hits 20,000 Milestone: Fox Mentions It 14 Times, CNN Only 2 Times!

CNN Continues To Ignore Reality

On Wednesday, The Dow Jones Industrial Average topped the 20,000 mark for the first time ever and finished the day at 20,068.51.

Just about everyone has been overjoyed with the success that the stock market has had since Donald Trump won the Presidential election on November 8, 2016. The stock market has gained over $2 Trillion in wealth in that time span of a little over 2 months.

Normally an event of this magnitude would garner a significant amount of media attention from the mainstream media. But not everyone is happy about the success that the stock market is having, especially CNN who has chosen to ignore it.

From Breitbart:

According to a search on TVEyes, which is a media monitoring service that describes itself as a “search engine for broadcast,” for the term “Dow,” the milestone was only given 2 segments as of 7 p.m. ET. At approximately 9:30 a.m. ET and 10:30 a.m. ET, CNN Money’s Paul La Monica reported from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

A similar search for the term “Dow” using the similar parameters on left-leaning MSNBC yielded 8 separate mentions during segments throughout the broadcast day, including a live spot from CNBC’s Morgan Brennan as the DJIA crossed into the 20,000 territory for the first time.

Leading the way of the three was the Fox News Channel with much more substantial coverage of the story coming in at mentions in 14 different segments, six of which occurred within an hour of the milestone.
