President Trump, who has used Twitter for years especially during his campaign, just started a new Twitter account under the handle @POTUS. He amassed over 7 million followers in the first few hours of starting the account.
His Twitter bio reads:

Although Trump has come under fierce criticism for his Twitter use, he vows to continue to communicate to the world using Twitter.
He even sent out a tweet!
