Last week “principled conservative” and #NeverTrumper Amanda Carpenter submitted an article to Politico trashing Breitbart and The Gateway Pundit.
Here is what Amanda had to say about The Gateway Pundit in her Politico piece.
Gateway Pundit, a fringe conservative website that has increased its tolerance for conspiracy theories as it has embraced Trump, is another outlet all too eager to advance the Trump agenda—and now has a coveted seat in the White House briefing room. This week, the New Yorkerspotlighted Gateway Pundit’s head honcho Jim Hoft, who gleefully wondered how many times his White House reporter, Lucian Wintrich, could work the phrase “fake news” into a televised question for Spicer to answer. “He’s there to troll,” Hoft acknowledged. When Wintrich asked whether he should “have a couple of backup questions that are specifically about policy,’ Hoft scoffed. “Policy schmolicy,” he said.
Poor Amanda has completely lost her sense of humor.
Amanda is still very upset that Republican Donald Trump won the presidency… Because, as she will tell you, she is a principled conservative. Amanda is very upset that Trump is in the White House and not Hillary… because then she could lecture us everyday about principled conservatism.
On Wednesday Amanda Carpenter submitted a hit piece on Ivanka Trump to far left Cosmopolitan — because that’s what principled conservatives do.
Then she trashed the First Daughter on Twitter.
Women shouldn’t take job advice from a woman whose career depends on daddy. Looking at you, Ivanka.
Ivanka doesn’t want to be thought of as First Lady. Why are we letting her act like an entitled royal princess?
How offensive.
Rooting for the opposing team is one thing.
Trashing the children of the president is another.
Amanda is not concerned about her country. She’s only concerned about herself.
