Why is a former Obama appointee, CNN employee Jim Sciutto reporting on Susan Rice?
A RedState article from early Tuesday morning brought another pertinent question to the table in the #RiceGate scandal that continues to develop. After numerous MSM assaults from the left attempted to squash the story Mike Cernovich first reported, new revelations continue to come out and the collusion with the MSM to cover up this narrative or paint it as a lie grows more and more relevant.
Eli Lake for Bloomberg and Maggie Haberman of the New York Times sat on the story in an effort to kill the narrative that would put the criminal acts of Obama out in plain sight. Once Cernovich caught the scoop, Lake spilled.
Then . . . CNN’s “Chief National Security Correspondent” Jim Sciutto chimed in:
Statement cont’d: “There is nothing unusual abt making these requests when serving as a sr. national security official, whether Dem or GOP”
— Jim Sciutto (@jimsciutto) April 4, 2017
Sciutto was Obama’s foreign policy political appointee and in 2013 he was hired for his CNN gig.
The RedState article brings up two important things to note about Sciutto’s tweets:
1. Note the careful language – The anonymous source says “improperly sought.” It likely means Lake’s reporting is valid and Rice did in fact, make requests to unmask. The question of whether it was proper or not remains to be seen.
2. The “person close to Rice” is likely somebody Sciutto knows – Before Sciutto worked at the White House, he worked at ABC. Do you know who he worked with at ABC? Ian Officer Cameron. Do you know who’s married to Cameron? Susan Rice.

Sciutto’s ties to the Obama administration only muddies his “reporting” and also brings into question who his source is. This is cheap and dirty of CNN to attempt to squash a relevant story based on hearsay from an individual with a conflict of interest.
