BREAKING – Multiple Doctors Shot at Bronx Hospital – Shooter Dead, NYPD Says

Bronx – Multiple people were shot Friday afternoon, including doctors inside a New York City hospital.

NYPD confirmed that one shooter is deceased. It is also being reported that the shooter is a former employee of the hospital and killed one person before killing himself. Story developing…

**UPDATE**  The shooter has been identified. The shooter was wearing a lab coat and had a concealed rifle inside it. FOX 5 indentified him as Dr. Henry Bello.

Fox News:

Reports say shots rang out on the 16th floor of Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, not far from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

The shooter is deceased at the hospital, according to police.

At least three doctors were shot, according to The New York Times. The condition of those who were injured wasn’t immediately known.

President Trump has been made aware of the developing situation.

Fox News just reported on the identity of the shooter:

The FBI currently has “a couple” of agents on scene, but the NYPD is still the lead.

Fox News sent out a series of tweets with update from the NYPD. One shooter is deceased. Several others are injured.
