The Congressional race between Repblican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff took place on Tuesday.
The race in Georgia’s 6th district is the most expensive House race in US history.
More than $50 million was spent on the race to replace Rep. Tom Price in the US House.
Jon Osoff, the liberal hope for Georgia, has nine times as many donors from California as from Georgia where he is running.
Voting ended at 7 p.m. in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District tonight although several precincts kept open late.
As long as you were in line at 7 p.m., you are allowed to stay until you finish voting.
The initial results (8:30 PM ET) show Ossoff up by 1,000 votes with 6 percent reporting.
The New York Times Election predictor has Handel up on Ossoff by 1.1% .
UPDATE: (9:00 PM ET) Handel is up to 2.5% on the election predictor.
UPDATE: (9:30 PM ET) Handel leads Ossoff 53 to 47 with 48% reporting.
UPDATE: (9:45 PM ET) Karen Handel is up 52.9% to 47.1% over Jon Ossoff with 65% reporting.
