Roger Stone: Reince Priebus Was Instrumental in Getting Robert Mueller Appointed Special Counsel

If you’re a Globalist RINO fixated on removing President Trump from the White House, Reince Priebus is your main man on the inside.

Former Trump campaign manager and legendary political operative Roger Stone, revealed Reince Priebus pushed for former Bush and Clinton operative and now Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to appoint Robert Mueller as special counsel.

“InfoWars Exclusive : Reince Priebus pushed the appointment of Bush/Clinton operative Rod Rosenstein who appointed Robert Mueller,” tweeted Stone.

The Guardian UK reports:

The Department of Justice has appointed the former FBI director Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate alleged ties between the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump and Russian operatives. Mueller will also investigate questions of Russian intervention in the election generally.

Mueller, 72, was appointed FBI director by George W Bush and served 12 years, including for the majority of Barack Obama’s presidency. He said in a statementon Wednesday: “I accept this responsibility and will discharge it to the best of my ability.”

The deputy attorney general, Rod Rosenstein, made the decision to appoint Mueller. It was a letter from Rosenstein that the Trump administration initially presented last week as a central factor in the firing of James Comey as FBI director.

In an order announcing the appointment, Rosenstein explained he had taken the decision “to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election”, including “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump”.

“My decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted,” Rosenstein wrote in a separate letter. “I have made no such determination. What I have determined is that based upon the unique circumstances, the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command.”

President Trump is weary of the relationship between Robert Mueller and former FBI head James Comey, calling their friendship “troublesome.”

Fox News reported:

President Trump on Friday called the investigation into allegations of Russia collusion and claims he obstructed justice “ridiculous” while saying special counsel Robert Mueller’s friendship with fired FBI Director James Comey “is very bothersome,” during a wide-ranging interview on “Fox & Friends” that also touched on his stalled legislative agenda and the health care debate.

“Robert Mueller is an honorable man and hopefully he’ll come up with an honorable conclusion,” Trump said, though he noted that Mueller and Comey were “very, very good friends” and also criticized the makeup of Mueller’s growing team of attorneys involved in the investigation.

“I can say that the people that have been hired are all Hillary Clinton supporters, some of them worked for Hillary Clinton,” Trump said. “I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous if you want to know the truth.”

A day earlier, Trump revealed on Twitter that he had not taped conversations between himself and Comey – addressing a question he helped raise in the first place – but on Friday he said his strategy in suggesting possible recordings was all about keeping Comey honest.
