Sean Spicer resigned as White House Press Secretary Friday following the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci as White House Communications Director.
Spicer fired off a tweet following his resignation saying it was an honor and privilege to serve President Trump.
Sean Spicer sent out a tweet shortly after the announcement about his resignation from his position as White House Press Secretary. Spicer said, “It’s been an honor and a privilege to serve POTUS and this amazing country. I will continue my service through August.”

As TGP reported earlier, New York financier, Anthony Scaramucci joined the Trump administration as White House Communications Director.
Maggie Haberman of the New York Times weighed in on the new dynamic between Spicer and Scaramucci as a foreshadowing that there may be a conflict between the two:
