Police are searching for 18 year-old Moussa Oukabir who “stole” his brother’s ID and rented the vans used in the deadly Barcelona attacks.

Moussa Oukabir fled the scene of the bloody Barcelona attack on Thursday.
Police surrounded the white van used by the killers following the deadly Barcelona attack.

Police in Ripoll also arrested a 34-year-old man, who was described as an “associate” of the Oukabir brothers.
Witnesses described seeing the driver of the van flee the scene on foot after ploughing into crowds in Barcelona on Thursday afternoon and the manhunt was continuing.
Just hours after the deadly attack in Barcelona and Audi A3 car crashed into tourists in the beach resort of Cambrils on the Costa Dorada.
Seven people including a police officer were injured in the attack, which was being linked by the Spanish police to the Barcelona outrage.
Five suspected jihadists wearing fake suicide vests were shot dead by police as they jumped out of the vehicle, clutching knives and taunting police.
