President Trump was asked about pardoning Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Friday during Hurricane Harvey.
The president destroyed his critics on pardoning Sheriff Joe and read off a list of pardoned criminals and terrorists by President Clinton and President Obama.

President Trump then ended by saying Sheriff Joe Arpaio served his country as a patriot.
POTUS Trump: Sheriff Joe loves our country. Sheriff Joe protected our borders. And Sheriff Joe was very poorly treated by the Obama administration especially right before an election, an election that he would have won. I stand by my pardon of Sheriff Joe and I think the people of Arizona who know Joe the best agree with me.
