Radio talkshow host Rush Limbaugh gave his millions of listeners a very different account of what President Trump thinks about the White House. President Trump gave Limbaugh and his wife Kathryn a private tour of the White House and marveled how ‘luxurious’ it is.

Limbaugh claimed that Trump personally gave him a tour in March, and claimed that the president considered the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue residence more than suitable.
“Now, on this White-House-is-a-dump business, I’ve never been to Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey,” Limbaugh began. “The story is at TheHill.com, where they report members at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club that the White House is ‘a real dump.’”
He continued, “I just can tell you this. I was at the White House, Kathryn and I were at the White House on March 23rd for about five hours … Before we sat down and had dinner, Trump gave us a tour of the White House and the residence. I had been there before, and I didn’t quite know how to handle that.”
“I’ve been there a number of times but I don’t think President Trump knew that,” Limbaugh explained. “And so when he said, ‘Rush, have you seen this?’ And of course I had, no matter what it was he was showing, I said, ‘Never with you, sir.’ And he remained enthusiastic.”
Limbaugh noted that Trump was extremely excited about being at the White House, and during Limbaugh’s personal tour, the president “kept telling us how shocked he was” and “how luxurious the White House was.”
“The latest issue of Sports Illustrated claimed that President Donald Trump slammed the White House during a recent stop at his Bedminister golf club, and many on Twitter were not happy about it,” according to The Blaze.

Chatting with some members before a recent round of golf, [Trump] explained his frequent appearances: “That White House is a real dump.”
Trump is often at his most unguarded among the people who pay for their proximity to him. Last November, the President-elect hosted a cocktail reception and dinner at Bedminster on the same weekend that he was holding interviews at the club with candidates for his Cabinet.
At the dinner, Trump addressed the members of the club by saying, “This is my real group. You are the special people. I see all of you. I recognize, like, 100% of you, just about.” Then he issued an open invitation to drop in on his Cabinet interviews the next day.
