In a move to protect Hillary Clinton, Amazon carefully monitored the reviews for the failed presidential candidate’s book What Happened, deleting many one-star reviews.
Hillary Clinton just launched her memoir What Happened and she has been relentlessly trolled by conservatives not only on social media, but in person at her book signing.
Hillary Clinton’s book got hammered with negative reviews on Amazon by Americans who are sick of her blaming everyone except herself for her election loss. Many people commented, “Trump happened”, “Look in the mirror” or “Go away” as they expressed their contempt for Hillary.
Amazon has a “verified purchase” option to prove a person has purchased the product before leaving a review and none of the one-star reviewers leaving comments had done so, Yahoo reports.
Many people also pointed out that Amazon almost never monitors or deletes negative reviews of a product. This is just more proof that Hillary is a propped up hero of the left.
A spokesperson told Fortune “In the case of a memoir, the subject of the book is the author and their views. It’s not our role to decide what a customer would view as helpful or unhelpful in making their decision. We do however have mechanisms in place to ensure that the voices of many do not drown out the voices of a few and we remove customer reviews that violate our community guidelines.”
