US Immigration and Customs Enforcement BLASTS Sanctuary City San Francisco After Kate Steinle Verdict

On Thursday a San Francisco jury found Kate Steinleā€™s killer, an illegal alien, innocent of murder or manslaughter.

Twitter exploded with outraged Americans after a San Francisco juryĀ acquittedĀ the illegal alien who killed Katie Steinle.
President Trump joined the many angry Americans and sent out a hard hitting tweet.

On July 1, 2015, illegal immigrant criminal Juan Francisco Sanchez opened fire on Pier 14 in the Embarcadero district in San Francisco, California, shooting 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle in the back.

Kate SteinleĀ died in her fatherā€™s arms that day.

ICE Deputy Director Tom Homan released an official statement following the announcement of the verdict.

“San Franciscoā€™s policy of refusing to honor ICE detainers is a blatant threat to public safety and undermines the rule of law. This tragedy could have been prevented if San Francisco had simply turned the alien over to ICE, as we requested, instead of releasing him back onto the streets. It is unconscionable that politicians across this country continue to endanger the lives of Americans with sanctuary policies while ignoring the harm inflicted on their constituents. Following the conclusion of this case, ICE will work to take custody of Mr. Garcia Zarate and ultimately remove him from the country.”
