Judge Jeanine Unleashes On AG Sessions: ‘He Lost His Prosecutorial Balls?!’ (VIDEO)

Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro ripped into Attorney General Jeff Sessions Friday, suggesting the nation’s top law enforcement officer has ‘lost his prosecutorial balls.’

The Hill reports:

During a segment on her show, “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” Pirro interviewed Fox News contributors Tammy Bruce and Lisa Boothe over whether Sessions should appoint a second special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton. […]

During the interview, Bruce suggested that Sessions’s time in the Senate could be a reason that he was not “shocked” over the story.

“His body was the Senate and he moved through it for an innumerable length of time,” Bruce said. “And we can’t dismiss the impact of living in that bubble.”

“So he lost his prosecutorial balls,” Pirro suggested.

“I’m a big fan of Jeff Sessions,” Bruce continued. “Thank goodness for the president, that he has got an eye on this, publicly making sure individuals know how serious this is.”

Pirro wasn’t the only one urging Sessions to spring into action. On the same program, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) urged Sessions to get rid of his ‘dereliction of duty’ mindset and appoint a second special counsel — or resign immediately.

GAETZ: “If Jeff Sessions does not appoint a second special counsel, then we need a new Attorney General, Judge. You are absolutely right. Even if we learn more horrifying things from the Inspector General, we can’t actually prosecute somebody for those things because we would need somebody to be able to bring that case and the Department of Justice and FBI obviously won’t be bringing a case against themselves. So Jeff Sessions needs to get rid of this mindset that is a dereliction of duty and he needs to do what Congress has called for and appoint a second special counsel to get to the bottom of this.”

On Wednesday morning, President Trump slammed Attorney General Jeff Sessions for directing Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz to probe Obama-era FISA abuses.

“Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!” tweeted Trump.
