NYT: Robert Mueller Now Investigating Whether Advisor to UAE is Influencing US Policy

Mueller is on the march.

A new piece by the New York Times claims Robert Mueller is broadening his investigation yet again.

The Special Counsel is now investigating whether an advisor to the United Arab Emirates, George Nader, is influencing U.S. policy.

The New York Times reported:

George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman, has hovered on the fringes of international diplomacy for three decades. He was a back-channel negotiator with Syria during the Clinton administration, reinvented himself as an adviser to the de facto ruler of the United Arab Emirates, and last year was a frequent visitor to President Trump’s White House.

Mr. Nader is now a focus of the investigation by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel. In recent weeks, Mr. Mueller’s investigators have questioned Mr. Nader and have pressed witnesses for information about any possible attempts by the Emiratis to buy political influence by directing money to support Mr. Trump during the presidential campaign, according to people with knowledge of the discussions.

The investigators have also asked about Mr. Nader’s role in White House policymaking, those people said, suggesting that the special counsel investigation has broadened beyond Russian election meddling to include Emirati influence on the Trump administration. The focus on Mr. Nader could also prompt an examination of how money from multiple countries has flowed through and influenced Washington during the Trump era.

President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton reacted to the NY Times article, “Shut it down.”

Robert Mueller is out of control. He has nothing on President Trump so he continues to rove around with infinite resources.

Mueller recently rolled out a 37-page indictment implicating 13 Russian nationals which was one big fat nothingburger.

Following the indictment, investigative reporter Paul Sperry spoke with a veteran FBI official who said the Russians named in the indictment are in Russia and will never be arrested or incarcerated; the indictment was all a public relations stunt.

According to Sperry, a veteran FBI agent said the 13 indictments by Mueller are moot and it was done for show to solely justify the Special Counsel’s existence and salary.

It is way past time to shut down Mueller and his team of liberal hacks and open an investigation into Mueller, Rosenstein and the other crooked officials from Obama’s DOJ and FBI.
