YouTube to Delete Alex Jones’ Channel Within 24 Hours **Updated**

InfoWars boss Alex Jones announced Saturday night from his Twitter account that YouTube has frozen his channel with billions of views and over 2.2 million subscribers.

Jones also said that he was told all 33,000 videos he has uploaded to YouTube will be erased on Sunday.

Alex Jones tweeted, “The Alex Jones channel with billions of views is frozen. We have been told it will be deleted tomorrow and all 33 thousands videos will be erased. We just set up this new page subscribe if you want to see what the SPLC wants censored..

Alex Jones redirected readers to his new YouTube channel ‘InfoWars Censored.’ At the time of this publication, the new channel had over 1,200 subscribers.

As previously reported, CNN was openly lobbying Google and YouTube to shut down competitor Infowars.

Infowars has several employees and several programs.

Today it’s InfoWars – Who’s next?

Alex Jones previously received two guideline strikes on his massive YouTube channel for his criticism of the Parkland shooting survivors.

On Saturday, YouTube hit InfoWars with a third strike, ultimately shutting the channel down.

According to InfoWars:

After one strike was removed earlier in the week, YouTube hit the Alex Jones Channel with a third strike for a video that had already been appealed and restored.

In the video, Jones clearly explains how the victims of the Parkland shooting were not “crisis actors”.

YouTube’s flagging system is clearly being abused in a flagrant effort to shut down Infowars following a public campaign by CNN.

This sets a horrific precedent for free expression and the First Amendment and YouTube is in direct violation of the Communications Decency Act in adopting this approach.

YouTube, Facebook and Twitter are currently purging, shadowbanning and suspending conservatives only using hate groups such as the ADL and SPLC as thought police.

Firewalls to prevent diversity of thought and debate exists in places like China and the tech giants are now censoring conservative views in the US through algorithms and ‘terms of service.’

Where the hell is the GOP??

Update: Senior tech writer at Buzzfeed Charlie Warzel says he reached out to YouTube and there is no plan to erase Jones’ channel tomorrow.
