THESE ARE AMAZING NUMBERS FOR AN ELECTION YEAR!
President Trump’s approval rating is starting to catch up with his historic successes.
Today is the FIRST TIME IN HIS PRESIDENCY that Gallup Polls has President Trump above water.
A 2 year fruitless (and virtually unlimited) Russian collusion investigation, a partisan impeachment charade, combined with constant negative coverage—and yet, President Trump is a positive approval rating on Gallup. 49-48.
Really amazing. Americans see the results. They know. https://t.co/ayFper8xsA

And more Americans now identify as Republicans thanks to President Trump — with a special thanks to Crazy Nancy.
Gallup: Trump job approval moves into *positive* territory – now at 49-48. That's Trump's best approval on Gallup in his presidency.
In addition, Gallup has seen an uptick in Americans identifying as Republicans – jumping to 32% (was 28%). Democrats were just 28% of respondents. pic.twitter.com/3p0AMaPrME

If Trump’s higher approval rating is being driven by Americans giving him credit for improvements in the economy, his support may increase over the course of the year, as it did for Ronald Reagan in 1984, Clinton in 1996 and Barack Obama in 2012. All of those recent presidents held office during periods of sustained economic improvement and were re-elected with job approval ratings of better than 50%.
President Trump’s job approval beats out Obama’s at the same time in presidency.
President Trump’s Rasmussen approval rating is also at 49% today.
In His 1st Term-to-Date:
One president enjoyed 95%+ favorable mainstream media coverage & received a Nobel Prize.
Another president received 95% unfavorable mainstream media coverage, was accused of conspiring with Russia & was impeached & acquitted.
