Dr. Anthony Fauci sat stone faced and repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment. The man once celebrated by much of the media as America’s trusted doctor now refuses to answer questions under oath. That’s a stunning fall from grace.
But here’s where Congress is missing the bigger story. They’re still obsessing over the lab leak. Whether COVID came from a lab is no longer the central question. The vaccine is. Millions of Americans were urged, pressured, and in some cases compelled to take it. That debate isn’t history. It’s still happening today as the shots continue to be recommended.
Yet much of the mainstream media refuses to confront the mounting criticism surrounding the government’s COVID response. Instead of asking the toughest questions, many outlets continue to minimize the controversy or avoid it altogether, while also defending their own reporting during the pandemic.
Then we’ll turn to the Democrats’ so called “big tent.” Across the country, prominent progressive candidates are embracing proposals that include dramatically reducing or eliminating prisons and advocating sweeping changes to America’s system of government.
