BREAKING: Judge Orders President Trump to Sit For Deposition in Defamation Lawsuit Against the BBC – Or Face Sanctions

A judge has ordered to sit for a deposition by December 11 in his defamation case against the BBC.

Last November, the BBC got caught editing Trump’s January 6 speech to make it sound like he encouraged rioting.

According to The Telegraph, an internal whistleblower memo revealed the BBC “doctored” Trump’s speech to make it sound like he was telling supporters to march over to the Capitol and “fight like hell.”

Watch the videos side by side:

Recall that former Special Counsel Jack Smith January 6 Committee members also lied about President Trump’s January 6 speech.

Jack Smith, much like the corrupt liars on the January 6 Committee omitted Trump’s call for his supporters to protest “peacefully and patriotically.”

“Jack Smith lied. In his indictment, he outlines the speech that Donald Trump made on January 6. It’s a very important part of the indictment. [Jack Smith] deliberately, wilfully, and with malice leaves out the keywords! He doctors the speech!” Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz recently said.

“He leaves out the part that Donald Trump said, ‘I want you to protest peacefully and patriotically.’ – Peacefully and patriotically. Those are the two words that bring him within the First Amendment!” Dershowitz added.

President Trump last December filed a $10 billion defamation suit against the BBC.

A magistrate judge ordered Trump to sit for a deposition by December 11 or face sanctions up to dismissal, the AP reported.

The AP reported:

A federal judge on Thursday ordered to sit for a deposition in his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC by Dec. 11.

The order from U.S. Magistrate Judge Enjoliqué Lett came as the BBC’s lawyers complained that Trump had delayed his appearance. Attorney Charles Tobin said that with two months left in the discovery period, “we still haven’t been able to depose the plaintiff.”

Lett said Trump must sit for a deposition by Dec. 11, or face sanctions up to dismissal of his lawsuit -– unless the discovery period was extended past Dec. 18.
